Maftet is the deification of legal justice and offered protection of the Pharoah’s chambers, she also offered protection against venomous animals. Bringing up as many as five cubs in her litter, as with human mothers she gives life, nourishment, protection and the lessons of life in a harsh and challenging environment using all her speed, stealth and cunning to beat nature’s odds.”
